Does it matter what vehicle I drive?
Not at all, we welcome all makes of 4WD vehicles as long as they have the mandatory vehicle requirements.
What are the mandatory vehicle requirements?
We have some basic safety and recovery requirements to participate in our driver training program and club trips.

What if I have already completed driver training elsewhere?
Even though you have completed a 4WD training course elsewhere, you will still be required to complete the TLCCV Driver Awareness course upon joining the club. This is to ensure that all members understand and follow the same procedures when on a club trip.
How much does a TLCCV membership cost?
Membership fees are listed below, and your first your fee includes the cost of the mandatory Driver Awareness training
Is my partner and family covered under my membership?
Yes, when you sign up you will only be able to enter your own details. Once your application has been approved and your membership fees paid, you will be issued with a membership number.
You will then be able to add your partner and your children up to age 18 to the membership.
Children aged between 18 and 25 who are at home with you and studying full time can also be included in your membership.
Children under the age of 25 who wish to undertake the Driver Awareness program will be required to take out their own separate membership.
How do you communicate with your membership
Communications to members is via the clubs official emails and our monthly digital magazine Overland Cruisering which is packed with 4WD articles, trip reports & upcoming trips.
Members can communicate on our TLCCV Members Facebook page, sharing 4WD clips as well as photos from club trips & member’s own travels. Members also receive our periodical electronic newsletter ‘Weekend Wrap’.
We also hold monthly meetings which brings members together to share trip updates, club news and hear from guest speakers. It’s a great opportunity to connect, learn, and stay informed about upcoming activities and events.

Current membership fees for 2026-2027 financial year.
First year fees include
One-off joining fee of $280
(includes your Driver Awareness course)

Annual membership fee of $114
(prorated in first year)

Annual FWDV fee of $60
Memberships conclude on the 31st of March.
Renewing membership fee in second and subsequent years is $174pa (includes FWDV annual fee).
