Located near Mansfield and just two hours from Melbourne, TLCCV’s Yarck property is a unique space dedicated to four wheel driving, training and member activities.
Our property at Yarck
Set across 360 acres of undulating countryside, the property provides members with the opportunity to camp, learn new skills and explore purpose built tracks in a relaxed bush setting. With steep climbs, technical descents and open camping areas.
Yarck has become the heart of many club events and gatherings throughout the year.
A proud club history
Securing the Yarck property was a major milestone in the club’s history. The land was originally leased in 1979, before members voted to purchase 320 acres following approval at the 1990 AGM.
A further 40 acres were added in 2002, bringing the property to its current size of 360 acres.
Over the years, dedicated volunteers have helped develop the property into a place where members can gather, train and enjoy four wheel driving while preserving the natural character of the area.

Facilities for members
At the centre of the property sits the Yarck Hilton, TLCCV's meeting house and social hub. The Hilton features a cosy open fire, comfortable seating and kitchen facilities, making it a popular place for members to gather after a day on the tracks.
The property also includes the Multi Purpose Building (MPB), which provides a training space for education sessions and workshops.
Nearby camping areas offer numerous sites for members, supported by toilet and shower facilities.

Activities at Yarck
The Yarck property is home to a range of purpose built four wheel drive tracks used for driver awareness training and recreational driving.
Members can test and improve their skills on steep climbs and descents such as Bulldozer and Gunbarrel tracks while learning safe driving techniques.
The property also hosts club activities, kids adventure weekends, training and events such as CruiserKhana, making it a central hub for learning, adventure and social connection.

Maintained by our members
The property is maintained by the Yarck Maintenance and Construction Subcommittee and dedicated volunteers who regularly contribute their time during maintenance and construction weekends.
Members help maintain the tracks, improve facilities and undertake projects such as building pathways and managing firewood supplies for the Hilton. Their ongoing efforts ensure the property remains a safe, welcoming and enjoyable place for members to visit and experience the best of club life.
