Saturday - We will be travelling on forest roads thru the Rubicon State Forest and returning to camp early afternoon to collect firewood for the evening fire..

Sunday - We will be breaking camp at 9.00am and travelling towards Melbourne thru the Toolangi Black Range Forest and finishing our trip at Yarra.

After meeting Friday night, we will start our adventure at the most North West corner of Victoria.

We will head south down the Border track Crossing the Sturt Hwy & into Murray Sunset National Park where we will continue along the border track, turning off to rocket lake.

The next day will take us via the Pink Lakes & into Wyperfeld National Park and eventually end up at Wonga camping ground on Monday night.

Tuesday will see us packing up & heading for home.

Drive the only legal sand dunes in Victoria.

Test your skills on the many steep dunes. Apart from a drop toilet there are no amenities at the camp. Caravans, camper trailers, tents are OK.

No Pets.

Sand driving Saturday and Sunday, Monday visit Picaninny Ponds, SA beach drive, lunch at the Port MacDonald Pub. return home Tuesday.

Travel the Millicent Buggy Club sand dunes, drive along the spectacular S.A coastline.  An excellent trip for new members to gain experience or for those who just enjoy sand driving with beautiful views for the camera lovers & fun for the children to go sliding down the dunes.

The Tourist Park has an excellent kitchen area with BBQs and cooking facilities. BYO everything, but there are plenty of facilities to purchase extra supplies.  Saturday night dinner at one of the local restaurants

Mt Skene South Side Snow Trip 2

Starting in Licola this trip will tackle Mt Skene from the lesser used southern side
of the mountain avoiding the crowds on the opposite side.

Come prepare to camp the night above the snow line as our final campsite will depend on snow conditions.

The trip will finish in Licola.

A large, exciting and family friendly weekend trip to Mt Skene to experience
some of the best snow driving in Victoria.

We will be based at Jamieson, from where we will travel up to Mt Skene
to drive in the snow, have some fun, and then return to the Jamieson Courthouse Hotel and socialise!

New members are encouraged to come along, and vehicles will be split into two groups
with two trips run concurrently to ensure that the large numbers of vehicles run smotthly.

down to the Aberfeldy Crossing where we will park up read the Information Boards
and walk along a track exposed specifically for the journey to old Hotel sites.

The trip is an easy one but there will be a fair bit of walking.

We will be following the route taken by Cecil Madigan
when he crossed the Northern Simpson using camels in 1939.

This is the most remote, least travelled and challenging of the recognised
Simpson crossings with many large and difficult sand ridges to negotiate.

Some previous sand driving experience is recommended.

The actual crossing is expected to take six to seven days.

Travel through the sandy Wyperfeld Nat Park via Lake Albacutya,
circling the Big desert via Ross Springs.

We will then travel through the 'Disputed Country' before crossing
into SA & heading down the
 Vic/SA Border Track.

We will experience some interesting sand dunes & bog holes, before finishing in Nhill.

Explore the Mt Selwyn area on the way to Mt Murray.

If the weather permits we will camp near the top of Mt Murray on the Saturday night.

On Sunday we will check out the magical views from Blue Rag,
then head down the steep decent to camp on the Dargo River at the old Mayford townsite.

Monday will see us return to the Great Alpine way at Mt St Bernard where the trip will conclude.

Come & enjoy a weekend with some great 4WDing & some MTBing for those fit members.

We will be base camping at Mirimbah (at the base of Mt Buller).

Some of you may wish to sit around the campfire on Sat morning & listen
to Laurie talk about the famus mapping software "OziExplorer".

We will be hitting the 4WD tracks as well, taking in the great climb up to Mt Stirling
after visiting Howqua Gap Hut. Heidi will be heading off on her MTB to explore
the amazing MTB trails around Mt Buller.

On Sunday, we will 4WD to Lake William Hovell & return via Pineapple Flat.

Tingaringy Trailer Trip

After leaving Orbost on Friday morning, we will head thru the Errinundra Plateau
with our trailers in tow, and base camp on the Deddick River.

On Saturday, we will 4WD up to Mt Tingaringy, right on the VIC/NSW border.

We will loop back down the Laurie Tk, crossing the Tingaringy Creek before returning to camp.

On Sunday, after reconnecting our trailers, we head down to McKillops Bridge,
crossing the mighty Snowy River as well as visiting the Little river Gorge before heading home.

Mt Howitt Jamieson Valley

The trip will commence at Sheep Yard Flat and will travel to Bluff Hut,
Lovicks Hut and Howitt Hut with an overnight camp on the Caledonia River.

On the Sunday we will complete the Caledonia Track, Butcher Country Track
and the Malcalister River Track visitng the High Cone and Upper Jamieson Hut
before camping on the Jamieson River.

On Sunday we will visit Wrens Flat and take the Mitchells and Stony Creek track
before finishing on the Mansfield Woods Point Road.
