A day in the Anglesea Heath for New Members and New Trip Leaders
(Day Trip)

Sun 19 May, 2024

These tracks are not too easy and are not too hard. They are all low range tracks on sandy, gravelly soil. Expect a lot of ruts.

We have taken new members on these tracks before and they have had a great day out.

We will be meeting in Waurn Ponds just off the Geelong ring road for members travelling from Melbourne and travelling in convoy to Anglesea.

I encourage new trip leaders that are doing their theory training in the week prior to this trip to join on this trip.

Weekend at Grannys
(Weekend Trip)

Fri 17 - Sun 19 May, 2024

We will be base camping at Granny's Flat Campground in Jamieson. Facilities at the campsite include a drop toilet and a river.

If enough time we will also stop at the Kevington pub and then return to camp. The plan is to book dinner at the Jamieson Brewery Saturday night.

Sunday's plan is to relax and maybe explore another track depending on the consensus.
