Wandiligong & Harrietville Ridge Run
(50th Anniversary - Day Trip)

Our trip will begin Saturday morning at 08:30.
Germantown, Freeburgh, Reliance Track, Wet Gully Track, Albion Track, Paddy's Hill Track, Clear Creek Track to Buckland River, Demon Ridge Track and return to home base via Dingo Ridge Road or Devil's Creek Road ...as time permits.

Beaufort Bomber Search
(50th Anniversary - Day Trip)

RAAF Beaufort, A9-228 departed Mount Gambier on 4 June 1945 for East Sale on a long range sea reconnaissance and night astro-navigation exercise. Instead it headed north east, over Albury and then flew in the direction of the Victorian Alps, ultimately crashing into Mt. Tawonga.
We will attempt to locate the wreckage site & view the associated memorial plaques whilst traversing numerous 4WD tracks.

Eskdale Spur

From the foot of Mt. Bogong towards Eskdale over numerous mountain tops plus historic town sites.
Return via Eskdale & Mitta Mitta.

Mt Blue Rag
(50th Anniversary - Day Trip)

Come and join us on a spectacular drive along the infamous Blue Rag Range track.
We will be stopping on the Mt Blue Rag summit to take in the spectacular 360° views. The road is rated as difficult. Intermediate experience and good vehicle ground clearance are recommended.
Time permitting, we will then head back via the North Basalt Knob track and Dargo High Plains Rd visiting ruins, a campsite and a hut along the way. You will need to bring morning tea and lunch. The plan is to be back in time for happy hour.

Get Dugout & Ruined for Huts
(50th Anniversary - Day Trip)

Tour the tracks less travelled, seaching for huts less known about, learning about their history.
Enjoy the highs and lows of the high country climbing mountain top fire towers, and exploring old cattleman huts in the valleys.

Wandiligong Wanderer
(50th Anniversary - Day Trip)

Departing Mount Beauty the trip will head towards Porepunkah.
At Porepunkah we will air down and depart the bitumen for some 4WD ridge roads that afford views of the surrounding mountains and valleys. Affectionately known as the Harrietville Ridge Run.
The Trip will include a river crossing and a stop at the famous Wandi Pub for a drink prior to airing up and heading back to Mount Beauty for the evening’s festivities.
