With just a couple of weeks’ notice, this recce trip delivered a full day of surprises, challenges, and plenty of laughs. Starting in Yea, we explored everything from the historic Cheviot Tunnel to winding forest tracks through Black Range and Murrindindi.
What began as a relaxed drive quickly stepped up—bog holes, steep rocky climbs, and some tricky rutted sections that tested both vehicles and teamwork. A couple of recoveries kept things interesting, but the crew worked together seamlessly to get everyone through. Highlights included stunning forest scenery, Wilhelmina Falls in full flow, and spotting native wildlife along the way.
