A warm Labor Day start in Merrijig set the scene for a brilliant day exploring the Victorian High Country. Eight vehicles hit the tracks, winding through stunning alpine scenery and visiting some of the region’s most iconic huts including Tomahawk, Razorback and the legendary Craig’s Hut with views of the Sleeping Indian.
From steep climbs in low range to dusty descents down Monument Track and a riverside stop at Bindaree Hut, the day delivered everything the High Country is known for. Great tracks, incredible views, and even better company. There was also plenty of 4WD chat and shared knowledge along the way. A perfect reminder of why we keep coming back!
